How To Add SingleOps To Your Mobile Device’s Home Screen

Are you making the most of SingleOps on your smart phone or tablet? Adding SingleOps to your home screen cuts out a handful of steps to give you instant access to the most important web application for your work.

iPhone, iPad, & iPod Touch

Simply open up your SingleOps home page in Safari and follow these 4 easy steps:

1. Open app.singleops.com in your browser.

2. Select the actions menu at the bottom of your browser (square with an arrow pointing upwards).

3. Select the option “Add to Home screen”

4. Edit your label and select “add”.

Additionally, you can add other pages that you often use, such as the calendar or pending jobs page,  by simply navigating to that page first and then repeating the above steps. Be sure to distinguish between the various SingleOps pages you save to your home screen by adding some text after “SingleOps” on Step 3 (e.g. “SingleOps Calendar”).

Android

In Chrome for Android, go to SingleOps home page (or any other SingleOps page you’d like to add to the home screen) and tap the menu button. Then from the menu drop down, tap ‘Add to homescreen’.

Or in Firefox for Android, from the SingleOps page of your choosing, tap the menu button, tap the page option, and tap ‘Add to homescreen’.

Windows 8, 8.1, RT

First, open the modern Internet Explorer browser and go to the SingleOps page you’d like to pin. Next, pull up the app bar — for example, by right-clicking or swiping up from the bottom of your screen — and tap the star icon. Tap the pin icon, enter a name for the shortcut, and click Pin to Start. SingleOps has now been added as a tile on your Start screen.

Windows Phone

Similar to the instructions above, open the SingleOps page you want to pin in Internet Explorer. Tap the More (…) button and then tap “Pin to Start” in then drop down menu that appears.

There you go, in a few simple steps SingleOps is now just as accessible on the go as any other app on your mobile device. If you happen to have a different type of smart phone or tablet its likely this option is available using steps similar to the ones listed above, but we’d be happy to assist if you have any trouble setting it up.
